Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery, also called blepharoplasty, involves removing or repositioning excess tissue and reinforcing muscles and tendons surrounding the eye to create a smoother and more youthful, rested, and alert appearance. The procedure is often used to remove excess fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper eyelids, bags under the eyes, and excess skin and fine wrinkles of the lower eyelid. Blepharoplasty can also help correct loose or sagging skin that creates folds or disturbs the natural contour of the upper eyelid, as well as droopiness of the lower eyelids.
